With another Thanksgiving behind us, this is a reminder to be grateful each day and not just on Thanksgiving. Make gratitude a daily practice. When we appreciate what we have, we open ourselves to more things to be thankful for.
Happiness is found in the present moment. Rather than waiting for something to happen in order to be happy, it’s important to be thankful for what we already have. I wrote this in one of my earlier blog posts entitled, “Be Thankful, Be Happy.” That was over a year ago, and I’d like to revisit gratitude in this blog post.
The Greek philosopher, Epictetus said, “He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.”
