From Information Overload to Procrastination

Procrastination can be a stress response or a form of avoidance. While fear can play a role, I’ve recently realized how information overload can turn into procrastination. Sometimes I'm not avoiding a task, I'm overwhelmed by it.

No Is a Complete Sentence

"No." is a complete sentence. It is short and simple but not easy to say when you're a people pleaser. I've always cared more than I should about what others think, so I shocked myself when I said "No" to someone at the gym.

Taking Stock of My 2017

As 2017 ends, I imagine it’s normal to reflect and take stock of the past year. Perhaps it’s my way of measuring progress by asking myself, “what does my life look like compared to a year ago?”
