Reconnect and revitalize. That is what I did on my recent Atlanta adventure. I called Georgia my home for 10 years, and this was my first time back visiting friends since 2021. I reconnected with a few people and experienced the city in a way I hadn't before.

A Year of Firsts

Reflecting on the past year, I would describe 2023 as a “Year of Firsts.” Mostly related to my hobbies, there were things I tried or achieved for the first time. Whether they were bike riding events, traveling to new locations, or just trying new eateries (like a revolving sushi restaurant), I am glad to have experienced these things.

In Every Ending, a New Beginning

Having lived in Georgia for a little over a decade, I return to visit my “second home” when I can. My most recent trip to Atlanta was so much fun. I flew in from New York on a Thursday night and my fiance, Alex drove down from Cincy on Saturday.

Taking Stock of My 2017

As 2017 ends, I imagine it’s normal to reflect and take stock of the past year. Perhaps it’s my way of measuring progress by asking myself, “what does my life look like compared to a year ago?”
